Throughout Velo-fringe, we’re asking everyone to ‘lock in the love’ for cycling and for Adelaide becoming a bike friendly city.

Your support will ensure the Heart Foundation are able to continue their vital work.

Want to get involved? It’s easy, for a $10 donation to the Heart Foundation, you can lock in your love for cycling, mark a milestone or dedicate your heart to a loved one. Simply write a message onto a silver heart and lock onto the installation. Hearts and locks are available from the Adelaide Convention Centre throughout Velocity.

Then why not take a selfie and tweet, Instagram or post to spread the love to your friends and join the conversation using our hashtag #lockinthelove.

Why are we doing it?
For over fifty years, the Heart Foundation has been dedicated to saving lives by making a difference to the heart health of all Australians. Donations from the community help to fund vital research, develop guidelines for health professionals, support patient care and help Australians to live healthier lifestyles.

With heart disease the single biggest killer of South Australian men and women, claiming 1,955 lives in 2011, there is still much to do. The majority of Heart Foundation funding comes from kind individuals like you, so your generous gift is critical to ensuring they can continue their vital work.
